Weekly Adventures on Instagram {9 days}

Oh man! It seems that yesterday started the official 10-days-to-go countdown! This week started just fine, with my bday happening and all. 

My family took me to a new restaurant called Bistro where the food was good, not great, the only thing great was the profiterol I ate, holy cow that was good! Then my incredibly awesome husband gave me two presents I looooove.

Next day I went to Caracas to meet my family and one of my favorite dogs, Nieto. Then my family threw a little farewell reunion with salchichon included.

You remember the post where I talked about my recent obsession about black and white portraits? Well last saturday when I arrived to Maracibo, I got together with some of my friends who were interested in being my models, we had a great time, you'll see the pics soon.

Weekly Adventures on Instagram {17 days}

This week was kind of exciting, a lot of awesome people participated in my giveaway and today some of them won great books :) 

The Curiosity Mars Rover finally landed, Gian and I watched through a live stream and it was pretty cool watching all those people so happy. Great things are happening.   

I was also curious about how my hair looked with my natural hair, I learned I have a big head but I guess it looks ok.

I found the Oreo fudge cookies! They taste like heaven although I don't think I'm going to buy them again because they are kind of expensive.

Operation getting even was held yesterday, if you can see I have an arm more tanned than the other, why? I don't have air in my car so I have to drive with open windows, so all the sun is just raping me on my left arm. So I went with my love and my best friend to catch some sun but it's spicy as hell.

@eduardoequis took a picture of maracaibo's "slushies", I'm truly gonna miss them.

Weekly Adventures on Instagram {24 days}

I'm happy I started the Books Giveaway, a lot of people has joined the contest and a lot of you have said awesome stuff about it, I'm thankful for that.

I didn't take too many Instagram pics this week. Most interesting stuff I found to capture on Instagram was my new iPhone case, it looks really pretty in person, my mom's cute coin purse and my lovely new hair do, finally chopped my hair, it was beyond damage.

Also, Geraldine from Point of Fashion Blog posted this view that i'll probably miss.

You know I've been craving some lita boots and @medicenmarie is rubbing them on our faces.

@Handres went to an interesting expo and snaped some very cool street lamps. 

I don't know where my friend @ernestohu is but it sure looks amazing.

My boy @giansolo capture this beautiful sunset a couple of days ago :)

Weekly adventures on Instagram {Day 31}

Oh my! There's exactly one month left for us here in this city and I feel there's still so much to do. I have in mind two little projects I hope I pull off, I'll talk about that later, today is instagram day.


This week I went to Go24, cool thing was that they have a large variety of Nail Polishes, I bought this "Dorothy shoes" polish. I don't remember the brand (worst blogger ever).  

On Tuesday we went to Tony Roma's for my step sister's bday, I was shocked by the high prices, one small mojito was 85bs ($20), but the food was incredible.        

I found this chocolate at Farmatodo. You HAVE to try it, it's very smooth and delicious. I'm going to miss Venezuelan chocolate like hell.

At the same drugstore I bought a vitamin C hair ampoule, but found some funny ones. Are those really duck embryo and bovine placenta? Nasty!

That night I used the vitamin C ampoule and put on some hair curlers just to have fun, I looked like doña florinda, it wasn't pretty but the results were! I had a very shiny and silky smooth hair. Next day the curls looked even better, I didn't take a picture tho.

I wish I had a golden like @joaconjoa's precious puppy, just to brag about it at La Vereda del Lago.

@vanetsoi reminded me of the time we went to a cruise back in 2005, we have to do it again!

I really want to know what @heyvero is going to do with all of those little clouds.

Weekly adventures on Intagram {Day 38}

My weekly adventures on instagram is a thing I want to do every Sunday, also I want to show some instagram loving, you'll see my favorites instagram pics from people I follow.

It's time to throw things away now that I'll be moving soon and while I was cleaning my room I found these little things: The first pic is a presentation card of Peperitas a lovely craft brand owned my dear friend Hey Vero! from back in the day. The maple leaf is actually one I brought from when I was in Vancouver, it's 7 years old :) 

You know I'm crazy about chocolate, the place I went is called Dolcissimo and even though their service is CRAP they have the most delicious treats at least in Maracaibo. Don't get me wrong both of these pictures were taken on different days.
