Tiny Lovely Links

At last, back to my blog, I finally figured out my routine and a way to manage this better, it took me a while because I'm basically the queen of procrastination. But I promise this blog is not buried like the rest of my other blogs, I just had to organized myself better and set different and reachable goals, let's be honest, I was never going to make the 365 thing, silly me.

♥   You know that halloween is coming, so I'd so wear this, I would even make it if I had some skills in sewing.

♥   In this weather going out to take pictures it's kind of a drag, no more excuses with this thingy.

♥   Ok, so this one is actually goreish, it's a zombie nails tutorial for Halloween.

♥   We've been eating ramen soup quite a lot, but not just maruchan, we even try to make a tasty soup. Here are some recipes to turn your ramen life upside down.

♥   Movies recommendations for the week: Mao's last dancer, Before sunrise and before sunset, I'm a sucker for romantic movies.

♥   I would give my left tit to be able to pull this sequin maxi skirt from nastygal off.

♥ And finally, enjoy this video of people from 0 to 100

Hope you liked this weeks links, if you want to see more about a subject in particular leave your comment bellow. Thanks for reading!

How great could it be to shoot at starry night plus meteor shower, brilliant photographer David Kingham pulled it off.

The girl from Best of bklyn pointed out 4 incredibly true tips for shopping realistically

Greatist compiled a list of 26 healthy habits that aren't that healthy, this is why we can't have nice things.

Talking about healthy, would you grab one or all?

Did you know that a restaurant in LA offers a discount if you dine without your phone? It's so annoying to see kids having a dinner and they are all using their phone instead of talking normally, we are all addicted.

Find the perfect photo for your blog without worrying about the permissions and stuff.

A woman made the most insane experiment: She avoided mirrors for a year, even on her wedding day. I could never do that!

One day I'm going to make this little camera carrier, one day.

I'll finish this post with this video a couple made of their wedding, it's sooooo lovely! I'm jealous. Have a nice weekend!

You know I'm loving peplum lately, the girl from Cotton & Curls made a peplum top tutorial I want to try

You want to lose followers on twitter, facebook and pinteres? Follow these simple rules from problogger. My favorites are:

 On Twitter:
- Tell people about your miserable breakup. It shows the world you have a heart.
- Say goodnight to your followers. And good morning. And Happy Tuesday.

On Facebook:
- Hook up your Twitter feed to your Facebook account, and every time you tweet, this will be posted as a Facebook status update. This ensures everyone, everywhere constantly know what’s going on in your life.
Like every status you post. People will be more inclined to pay attention to your witty nature.

On Pinterest:
If you do pin your own content, just get stuff from Google images. It’s easy to find and it doesn’t matter where it came from.
Make sure the infographics you pin are very long, enabling you to take up at least half of your followers’ pages as they scroll down in an attempt to get past it. Ultimate exposure!

Take note of Gala Darling's 10 self-love exercises for this summer :)

♥   Stop saying these business clichés and start doing some hard work.

♥   The people from FabSugar made a fabulous video, they show 10 ways to wear a little white dress.

The fastest man in the world, Usain Bolt, right after he won the 200m race, ran over the photographers and took one of the cameras and started shooting, wanna see the results?

Savannah from OH SO PRETTY built a nail polish display to die for.

It's always interesting to know how fashion trends evolve.

The huffington post made a trippy experiment, they flipped the pics of the syncornized swimming upside down.

Hope you liked it, have nice weekend, it'll be a sunny weekend for me :)

♥    Did you know Reuters has 11 robotic cameras to shoot from every angle possible? Photographers can remotely operate the movements with a joystick. Here are examples of multiple exposures by Reuters photographers. Amazing or what?

♥   The Joy of Tech presents to you The 2012 geek Olympics events. And the gold medal for the text messaging obstacle course goes to...

Louis von Ahn *ajjem* the one who invented the captcha thingy, talks about what he is doing to help translate the whole Internet while learning a new language. Dude's smart!

I know there's always someone who is not entirely pessimistic but they kind of bump you out when you talk about your dreams and ideas. Read this article and stay positive!

Do you know when you hold the door for someone and they don't even say thank you? Or you say hello or good morning and they don't even notice you? Either way, never stop doing those nice things, you may be doing someone's day.

It has been freakishly hot in my hometown lately, like 45°C hot, here are 27 pieces you can wear in this hell.

The team from Delites came up with the idea of building a machine and see how far people would go to get freebies. Watch the experiment.

The other day Gian and I were talking about North Korea and how come there are almost no pictures of tourists and stuff (it turns out is not easy at all). A photographer, Charlie Crane, took over a year to get the proper permits to enter with his camera, and I believe it was worth it.

Could you imagine if Neil Armstrong had had an Instagram account? Watch the instagrammed versions of the Apollo 11.

Hope you enjoyed these links :)

Tiny Lovely Links {40 days}

This is a link roundup that I'll deliver every friday morning.
You'll find tiny lovely things that I enjoyed this week.

The video you'll see next is a little something Gian and I pulled off last month for an acting project made by Fred Armisen called Be serious for 30 seconds in which there are 7 rules to be followed:

1. The topic has to be serious, not even ironic.
2. No more that 2 people in the video
3. It has to be 30 seconds or less
4. At least one 5 second dramatic pause
5. One cutaway to an object
6. Best acting possible
7. And it has to end with a door slamming

If you make one please let me know.

IkeaHackers teach us how can we make large mirros for dancing, too bad we don't have an ikea here :(

I'll be so freaking happy if someone throws a 5k color run in my hometown before we leave.

Try these apps if you want to digitalize your closet and become an organization freak.

I love what Kelly Osbourne said about her hair and makeup: “Anyone who spends more than 10 minutes on their makeup needs a little bit of help, unless you’re going to some kind of event. It ain’t gonna change your face — learn to love your face. Work with what you have, not what you don’t have.”
