15 días / 2 miradas, my experience.

In January I made a post about this collaborative project called 15 dias / 2 miradas (15 days / 2 looks) created by Arlette Montilla, which consisted in portraying the Venezuelan's daily life outside the country and each participant has to take one photo for 15 days. Then she will try to look for similar situations for a comparative of our lives.

From April 17 to May 1 it was my turn, I believe our results were pretty interesting. A lot was happening in these 15 days so I had some cool stuff to document. I loved the challenge, and it seems that I can't stop taking daily pictures.

My life lately... (Part 1)

It has been a couple of months since I last wrote on this blog, and now that I have time to finally dedicate myself to it, and I wanted to tell you what have I been doing lately. My life is not that exciting but I want to write this post in parts so I have a reason to write again :)

I'm going to start with Melissa Araujo, she is a Brazilian fashion designer who contacted me to collaborate with her. I am taking pics of her style for her blog, we have been meeting frequently, and I would like to show you some of my work.

She's wearing: Cyeoms Chiffon Jacket, Melissa Araujo Skirt (from new collection coming soon), American Apparel Beanie & Tights, H&M Clutch and Leather Vintage boots.

A cada participante les tocan 15 días para capturar su cotidianidad, funny thing is que a mi me toco en mi semana de aniversario con Gian, vamos a ver como queda eso.

About fall fashion

I wanted to make a post about my fashion clothes, and because yesterday was a sunny day I guess it was just perfect. I've been trying to play with layers mainly because I don't melt. I've done some experiments with my clothes, some work some doesn't but that's fashion right? Trying to get to the sweet style spot.

If you are interested to know I'm wearing a forever 21 dress which I choose to wear it as a dress, Zara's sweater, my grandmother sew this shirt for me, from this tutorial, Roxy boots, top shop tights. And Peperita's accessories.

Instameet Vancouver in October

Yesterday was a really fun day, I finally got to meet cool people from instagram. This instameet it's organized every month as a photowalk. I brough my camera with me and these are my favorite photos, I didn't take that many because Gian and me had to leave early to the whitecaps game :)

The fashionable girl bellow @beyunique was posing for me, loved her animal print hat.

I've been following @bryceevansphoto since I was living in Venezuela, it's nice to see one of your favorite insagrammers in action.

We went to the Science World and got cool shots there.

Portrait and Ballet {7 days}

A couple of weeks ago I promised my best friend to post something ballet related so I had the idea to mix the black and white portraits with ballet. So instead of writing about my love about dance, which I'll cover eventually, I'm just going to show you.

These girls are some pretty amazing dancers.
